Erin Boswell MScA, RSLP

Erin Boswell is a passionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist based in Vancouver, BC. With over 18 years of experience, Erin has worked extensively with school-age children in Vancouver, North Vancouver, and Montreal. Erin specializes in helping children communicate to their fullest potential through various methods, including Augmentative and Alternative Communication, speech therapy, language therapy, fluency/stuttering interventions, and literacy support. Her approach is family and child-centered, neurodiversity-affirming, and strengths-based. Erin's therapy sessions are designed to be enjoyable, empowering, and tailored to each child's interests, abilities, and needs. Erin is registered with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC, certified with Speech-Language & Audiology Canada, and is a member in good standing with Speech and Hearing BC. She has specialized training and a keen interest in advanced techniques such as Story Champs Language Intervention, the Complexity Approach to Phonological Intervention, strengths-based approaches to working with autistic and other neurodivergent individuals, the science of language and reading, Language Acquisition Through Motor Planning (LAMP), Pragmatically Organized Dynamic Display Books (PODD books), and the Hanen It Takes Two to Talk program, among others. Erin is committed to continuing her professional development and staying at the forefront of advancements in speech-language pathology. She aims to expand her expertise in emerging therapeutic techniques and technologies and advocate for inclusive practices within educational settings. Erin also aspires to mentor new speech-language pathologists and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance the support provided to children and their families.
